Baptiste Giabiconi

As Karl Lagerfeld's male muse, Baptiste Giabiconi has been included in countless Chanel and Fendi campaigns, fashion shows and events. During an interview with Lagerfeld, he mentioned that Baptiste was like a male version of Gisele Bündchen: skinny with an athletic body. Good for clothes and great with no clothes. With that beautifully sculpted facial structure, Baptiste would not be the boy next door. Maybe Prince Charming? His look is so couture and unique (and breathtaking) that it is obvious to Lagerfeld that Baptiste should be Chanel's male muse. And you're welcome.

FALL '10 Chanel Purses

Ice cubes, Ice bergs and snow are the elements for Chanel's accessories this season. Ice Jewelry conspired to create intensely worked ruffled and beaded silhouettes that glinted with rock-crystal neckpieces and fistful of rings. Somewhere in there, a flash of translucent silver seemed to be a clutch in which the quilting of the CC classic bag had been frozen into the likeness of a refrigerator ice cube tray.

The unique thing about this season's accessories are also that ice boxed purses are invented. I have never seen anyone used a cube as a purse before, let alone carrying a box around. The classic CC purse has also been frozen and made into a cute little icy purse, which I would expect a lot of fake ones really soon.

FALL '10 Fashion Week: Chanel

This season, Chanel had incorporated its classic vintage chanel, with 60's retro and today's ridiculously cold weather. The set itself had giant chunks of bona fide icebergs, specially transported from Scandinavia, forming a frozen landscape around which the models would splash through a sea of 'berg-melt in shaggy snow boots with ice-blocked heels.

White and Black colors are usually the norm for Chanel, but this time red, blue and khaki tones are being used to create a (sort of) ancient mongolians, and a hint of retro shown in the entire look itself. Leather and Fur seems to be a great match as well this season in Chanel, so are the modern meets tribal accessories. The twist is that these fur are actually fake, in which Karl Lagerfeld explained that it was woven into brown tweeds. Some might even say that Lagerfeld had put in a lot more than he did on Fendi, which is extravagant.

P.S don't you just feel the chills while looking at these clothes?

Chanel -Fall 2009

Since Coco Chanel's death in 1971, came Karl Lagerfeld in 1983, a headstrong German native. At Chanel, the designer rapidly revitalize the French brand, restoring it to the vitality of its glory years, he also launched it in to the twenty-first century by reinventing its signature motifs. Until today, Chanel has repeatedly dominated the fashion world and wowed runway shows.

Ready-To-Wear collection

This fall, Karl Lagerfeld mixed classy and modern in this look, and the collection. It was difficult for me to choose one look from the entire collection, just because every garment was so beautifully made. Even though this outfit is full-on black, it is totally modern and shows how a stylish woman would dress herself before she goes out for a walk in a park perhaps. 100 percent Chanel.

Couture collection

This beautiful garment was probably a better interpretation of another Coco Chanel dress worn by Jessica Alba a few years ago. The texture and the detailing of this dress is so unique, that it proved to me yet again how the legendary Karl Lagerfeld works with fabric.

Chanel + Technology

Can we take a second to inhale this properly? It seemed like the genius, Karl Lagerfeld, had decided to add a little bit of technology in his Chanel collection not long ago. Just like the Birkin bag, this purse seemed to have everything a woman needs on a daily basis. It includes a Chanel blusher, Chanel lipstick, Chanel no. 5 perfume, an ipod, and reading glasses all ironically outside the bag, but in the purse. If this transparent purse was on sale i would have it in all colors and display it along my staircase to remind me what i need before i leave the house!

The Chanel 2.55

Stars like LC owns the fashion must have!

Coco Chanel's iconic bag was launched in February of 1955, hence the moniker, 2.55. Each feature of the bag - from the lining to the shoulder strap - reveals a bit about Mme Chanel. The brown lining is the color of the uniforms from the convent where she grew up. The inside zippered compartment on the front flap is where she hid her love letters. The back outside flap is where she stashed extra money. the shoulder straps, which were quite uncommon on luxury items at the time, are there because Mme Chanel saw nothing unfeminine about having her hands free.
