FALL '10 Fashion Week: Dolce and Gabbana

Lingerie in suits
Animal Prints

This season Dolce and Gabbana had made most of the people in the audience cry, as usual. The presentation of the entire show was magnificent, with a video behind showing Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana working hard on the garments we would eventually see when they appear on the runway. The fact that these geniuses had carefully created their work of art was very touching, and emotional. I would say the best part about the show was the finish, when all 85 models would walk the runway once again, but in suits and lingerie.

This fall, Dolce and Gabbana brought the true and classic brand back, featuring mostly black, lace, and leopard. Sheer and a hint of graphic prints are also shown, and lingerie is definitely present. To be honest, I am really impressed with the suits, which looked like flannel, but they really are jersey. As I saw the ensemble of the suit with a shorter pant, it gave a taste of Italiano, so it seemed as if a girl were to take her boyfriend's pants and cut it off to make it chic and brand new. As for accessories, cute little sling pouches were created, which I felt was inspiring. Dolce and Gabbana has definitely brought back 1930s, and threw a dash of minimalism this season.
